Thai Military Invade Cambodia Territory in Day 4

Phnom Penh (10 December 2025): Cambodian Senate President Samdech Techo Hun Sen on Wednesday morning sent a message to encourage his country’s armed forces standing bravely to defend the land and fight against the Thai invaders.
The message posted on his official Facebook page around 5:30am, Hun Sen wrote “Please send our greeting to all armed forces who have been standing bravely to defend the land to fight against the invaders. Please share the hardships with all the displaced people who have fled because of the invaders. Thank you to the generous people who have contributed financial resources through the Royal Government as well as the generous people who have directly distributed them to the armed forces and the displaced people”.
At about 8:00am, the Cambodian Ministry of National Defense told the public in a press briefing that from 5:20am, the Thai military have started firing artillery and used F-16 aircraft again to shell and bombs on several areas inside the Cambodian villages while a huge number of soldiers accompanied by tanks marching into a few areas inside the Cambodian territory.
This is the 4th day that the Thai military have attacked Cambodia resulting in the deaths and injuries of several Cambodian civilians. Many homes, market, pagoda, Khmer ancent temple have been destroyed while thousands of schoolchildren, the elderly, and men and women were forced to immediately seek temporary safety.
The Cambodian Ministry of National Defense said the Thai side has violated the ceasefire and the Joint Statement on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand, which the two sides signed on October 26, 2025, signed by the Prime Ministers of Cambodia and Thailand, under the witness of His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the United States, and His Excellency Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Chairman of ASEAN.
Cambodia needs “PEACE”, the ministry affirmed.
So far, the US, the Eurpean Union, China, Japan, Australia and other nations have expressed their concerns over the fighting and appealed both sides to get back for peace as the good neighbouring countries.
