Three houses burnt down in province

Phnom Penh (11 Dec, 2011): A fire occurred from a grocery house in Kampong Cham province, northeast of Phnom Penh, on Sunday, a local police official said. No casualty has been reported but three houses were burnt down.

The more than one-hour fire started from the house’s kitchen where the owner was busy with selling grocery to the clients at the front door.

He also appealed people to take care since the winter is coming down to the nation. This is the first fire reported in Kampong Cham since the arrival of winter in December, he added.
