Cambodia economy growth with 7%

Phnom Penh (14 December, 2011): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Wednesday said although the country agriculture sector has increased nothing in 2011, economy has increased up to 7%.

Speaking to a group of graduated students at a university in Phnom Penh, Hun Sen confirmed that his government is waiting for the final figure of agriculture figure and if it has 0% increase, the economy in is still moving onward with 7%.

Cambodia’s rice plants and other crops have been seriously damaged with more than 20 thousands hectares due to September-October flood. The flood affects part of the growth of the country economy. (CN)
