Cambodia wins the World Best Rice 2025 for 7 times
Phnom Penh (9 November 2025): Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Thipadei Hun Manet has hailed his nation’s fragrant rice, the “Angkor Jasmine” certified brand, the Romdul variety, for winning the World Best Rice award at the World Rice Conference 2025.

This is the 7th time that Kingdom has won the best rice award at this world-class event, with the first time in 2012, the second time in 2013, the third time in 2014, the fourth time in 2018, the fifth time in 2022, the sixth time in 2024.
In his congratulatory message Sunday, Hun Manet said “We would also like to inform you that winning this award is the result of the hard work of Cambodian farmers who have participated in the production of Cambodian rice, promoting high quality until the value and quality of Cambodian rice has been recognized internationally”.
It is really worth that Cambodia’s winning of the World Best Rice 2025 award taken place at the World Rice Conference 2025 in Cambodia, organized by The Rice Trader for 3 days from November 7-9, 2025 in Phnom Penh. Chhay Sophal
