Iranian President calls on Asian nations to confront discrimination

Kuwait (18 Oct, 2012): Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on Asian nations to build up stronger cooperation at the international community deal with the current discriminatory structure of the global relations.
Speaking at the First Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) Summit held in Kuwait city on 15-17 October, Ahmadinejad said the Asian states are meeting with discriminatory international relations in the economic, political, and cultural spheres.
The ACD was established by 18 Asian Foreign Ministers in June 2002 in Thailand. The first historic ACD summit held in Kuwait city of Kuwait aims at seeking to promote interaction between Asian nations to have cooperation in all fields by identifying joint opportunities to help fight poverty and improve the quality of life for Asian peoples.
The summit also needs to expand trade and financial markets in Asia-Based capabilities through completing and strengthen the existing cooperative frameworks in order to be a vital partner for other regions; and to transform the Asian continent into Asian community to be capable of interacting with other countries for further positive participation toward the world peace and prosperity.
At the summit, Ahmadinejad also urged the 32 ACD member states, including Cambodia, to adopt “collective measures” to create opportunities for broader cooperation at international levels.
