Cambodian journalists help combat corruption

Two media associations to work with Anti-Corruption Unit. The Anti-Corruption Unit says it will work with the Club of Cambodian Journalists and the Khmer Journalists Association to combat corruption.

Speaking at a UN workshop Thursday, Anti-Corruption Unit President Om Yintieng said the Ministry of Economy and Finance would award those who write stories about graft.
Pen Samitthy, president of Club of Cambodian Journalists, said his club would work hard to fight against corruption.
Om Chandara, president of the Khmer Journalists Association, praised the unit for choosing journalists as partners. “We will cooperate to combat corruption in society,” he said. (Peter Starr)
