Almost 50 projects, $564M capital, target Preah Sihanouk development

The Royal Government has officially launched the “The Special Program to Promote Investment in Preah Sihanouk  Province 2024”. In order to encourage  more investment and business and accelerate growth in Preah Sihanouk, the Royal Government of Cambodia has decided in principle to continue implementing the “Special Program to Promote Investment in Preah Sihanouk Province 2024” until the end of 2025. Through this, businessmen and investors who request and implement projects or activities in 2024, that include : (1). Investment projects involving unfinished buildings; (2). Investment projects not related to unfinished buildings and, (3). Expansion of existing investment projects in the province, will receive “special benefits”, such as procedure facilitations, special incentives scheme and others.

Based on this, the Preah Sihanouk Investment Promotion Working Group, which is an inter-ministerial mechanism, acting as a “One- Stop-Window”, responsible for leading, coordinating and implementing this special program, including measures to resolve unfinished investment projects in Preah Sihanouk province.

In this sense, businessmen and investors who wish to receive “special benefits” may file a proposal or request to the Preah Sihanouk Investment Promotion Working Group for review, evaluation and approval at the working group’s offices at National Road 4, Village 3, Sangkat 1, Sihanoukville Town, Preah Sihanouk Province or at Business Development Center Building, 21st floor, Sangkat/Khan Chroy Changva, Phnom Penh and via Telephone/Telegram 012 902 200, 089 726 028 and 016 321 010.
