Cambodia, Laos strengthen cooperation and enhance mutual exchange

(Phnom Penh): Mr. Ith Sam Heng, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, on 29 August 2016, met with the delegation of the Federation of Unions Laos (LFU), led by Tongye YANGYONGXENG Vice Union Federation Laos to strengthen co-operation involving the Labour and trade unions aimed at exchange jobs each other.

The event was also attended by leaders of the Ministry of party leaders in Laos and Mr. Som Aun, president of the National Union Alliance Chamber of Cambodia (NACC).

After ending the meeting discussed above, the minister said that the union of Cambodia and of Laos had relations with each other long ago, especially the liberation day on January 7, 1979, Union Federation, Laos and the Federation have always had good cooperation and exchange of ideas to one another through the visit of delegations between the two countries as well as mutually.

The minister said that through this cooperation, both sides have mutual exchange unless the system is not the same, but the two countries based on the principle of the interests and development workers alike. Moreover, the two countries also have a policy change leadership capabilities at all levels of the union and consensus on international forums and regional forums, the good cooperation to benefit all.

According to the visit of the delegation of the Lao Federation of Trade Unions above in Cambodia lasts 5 days from 27-31 August 2016, which was held at the invitation of Mr. Som Aun, in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation together.
