Russian pedophile irregularly released from Cambodia’s prison

Phnom Penh (22 Dec, 2011): A Russian man who was sentenced for 17 years for convicting of sexually abusing 16 girls in Cambodia has released this week after serving more than 4 years in jail, a prison official confirmed Thursday .

According to Prison Chief of Preah Sihanouk province Pech Veasna, Stanislav Molodyakov widely known as his alias Alexander was strangely released from Preah Sihanouk province’s prison on Tuesday afternoon.

Pech Veasna said the release saying that Molodyakov,  44, was among some prisoners who were received royal pardons from King Norodom Sihamoni after they had good behavior and attitude in the prison.

The provincial police in October 2007 arrested Molodyakov for a series of cases in involving with having sex with underage girls, some of them were 15 years old. The local court then found him guilty of buying sex with children and sentenced him up to 17 years. CN staff
