Malaysian-run hospital causes Cambodian Buddhist monk dead in operation

Phnom Penh (18 Dec, 2013): Cambodian police on Wednesday are investigating a Cambodian Buddhist Monk’s death after his throat was operated in a small private hospital here in Phnom Penh owned by a group of Malaysian-Chinese doctors.

24-year-old Buddhist Monk Ngin Vandy, a pagoda chief in Kampot province, was reported to be dead immediately after his throat was operated on Tuesday morning in Maliya hospital. Cambodia News
