UK embassy donates hospital in Cambodia

Phnom Penh (20 June, 2012): The British Embassy in Phnom Penh on Wednesday provided US$ 3,500 in donation to Kantha Bopha Foundation as part of its valuable work.

According to a press release of the embassy today, Ambassador Mark Gooding handed over a check to Dr Med Beat Richner on behalf of the Foundation to mark Queen Elizabeth’s 60years on the reign, Diamond Jubilee.

“I am delighted to present this donation which will go towards the work of the Kantha Bopha Foundation, and help to support its work in providing medical care and treatment to thousands of children in Cambodia,” Mark Gooding said in the press release.
