Two Cambodian young construction workers were shot dead by Monday night during argument with a group of Thai concrete workers in Chon Buri province, Thai newspaper reported.

Bangkok Post – Thailand’s English-language newspaper —  quoted local police who is an investigator at Muang Pattaya police station as saying on Tuesday morning that the victims were identified as Huoch Nhoem, 33, and La (surname not given), 28.

The paper said a Thai witness told police that the two Cambodians had been partying and drinking hard after work at their construction camp and they were playing loud music, and while one man was dancing and he bumped into two Thai concrete workers as they walked past but the Cambodians did not apologise and became belligerent.

Argument and attack happened then and during the brawl, one of the Thai men pulled out a gun and shot the two Cambodians dead on the spot, the paper said.

Thai police now arrested the gunman and identified the other people who attacked the Cambodia. By Vathey (Cambodia News/New Youth)
