Cambodian Students Encouraged to Apply for Korean School’s Awards
Seoul (7 Feb 2026): A Korean NGO School official has encouraged Cambodian students, especially those who are studying in the Republic of Korea, to apply for his School Awards in either Korean or English language.

The Awards known as “Miracle Diversity Awards” with many categories – Literature (Poetry, Essays, Stories) and Arts (Painting, Photography, Video) — are for all students around the world, said Oh Taeseok, the General Manager of Miracle Operation Korean (OK) School based in Seoul.
Since the Awards started in 2024, students from US, UK, Afghanistan, India, Korea, Thailand and Vietnam, including other nations, have applied.
Speaking in his office in Seoul on 6 February to Dr. Chhay Sophal, President of the Asia Journalist Association, Oh said that Miracle OK School’s outreach programme has provided Korean language tailoring to migrant families for their daily life settlement, migrant workers for their corporate environment and at university campus for Academic Purpose.
Currently, Miracle OK School provide Korean language classes on campus at Gimpo center, Pecheon center and Seocho headquarters where small number of Cambodian migrant workers also joined.
According to Oh, Miracle OK School also has its global project focusing on international Women’s Conference, Tailoring Korean Language Education for Hanoi University of Industry and Korean-China Youth Project Bel Canto Masterclass.
At the same time, the school also has Seesaw Project that is an intercultural exchange project where native residents and migrant students can participate together to understand and accept different cultural backgrounds, shifting negative percveptions into positive ones to realise a beautiful diverse society.
Miracle OK School takes its name from Operation MIRACLE, a 2021 Korean government mission to safely evacuate Afghan special contributors at risk under the Taliban, Oh said adding that the school has its mission’s guiding a simple message “We do not abandon our friends”.
since then, the school has welcomed all international students, marriage migrants and migrant workers as friends who come to Korea and they get support for their new beginnings and help pursuing their dreams, Oh said.
