Cambodia News

Phnom Penh (22 Sept, 2012): With the name of Hun Sen and the logo of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) – the ruling party — has been back on a facebook wall.

Last year, after a facebook wall with his name and his photos was posted a series of information and ideas, Prime Minister Hun Sen denied of having such facebook. After his denial, the wall was deleted but now it is back with the following comment:

“I’m so proud of our youth and students for their involvement and dedication for a better community! As a great example from our Red Cross youth and students who have volunteered their time to raise awareness on public safety and traffic regulations through out the streets in Phnom Penh city. I strongly support and encourage youth and students to get involve more actively in our society through out school, NGOs and Government programs. Our youth should be loyal to our country, study well and become a productive person, obey the laws, orders and maintain peace in the community. Register to vote and choose the right candidate and party who can actually serve the Cambodian people and our country. As a Prime Minister I work for all the people not just members of CPP. I count on everyone for the next coming election!”

Last year, her daughter Hun Mana who owns BAYON radio and TV stations also denied of having a facebook after a series of photos and comments were a facebook wall with her name.
