Cambodia’s Senate President Thanks Cambodian-Thai Military for Ceasefire

Phnom Penh (29 July 2025): Cambodian Senate President Hun Sen on Tuesday said despite the ceasefire, he has still worked hard to follow up the country’s situation.

Posting on his Facebook, Samdech Techo Hun Sen who is also the Ruling Cambodian People’s Party President wrote that “Last night, I rested for more than 2 hours and will continue working until now, which may continue until 7 pm or even later depending on the situation. My task from 12 pm on July 28 to 29, 2025 is to help implement the ceasefire agreement successfully to ensure that the war will be ended in peace….”, he wrote.

He also highly appreciates and thanks to the armies of both Cambodia and Thailand for respecting and implementing the ceasefire agreement and holding a successful regional meeting.

“Let’s work together to protect peace to avoid losing peace and finding peace, which is difficult,” he wrote. (Chhay Sophal)
