Cambodia’s Defense Minister: Thailand Shows Its More Weapons and Cambodia Doesn’t

Phnom Penh (20 June 205): General Tea Seiha, Cambodia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense said on Friday Thailand has shown its missiles, weapons, whether in the air, fighter jets, artillery, and warships, both on land and in sea, while Cambodia is not having such shows.
Cambodia has just capacity to defend its nation, the General said adding that Cambodia however has anti-aircraft guns, anti-tank guns, and front-line guns at the coast.

Speaking on the occasion to celebrate the 48th anniversary of the journey to overthrow Pol Pot genocidal regime and the 47th anniversary of the founding of the Cambodian National Rescue Unity Armed Forces, the General revealed that Cambodia has also cooperated with some friendly countries in enhancing its military capabilities, only to defend the country, absolutely to defend the country, not to promote weapons to invade others, he said.
