International Journalists push Peace in Korea

Inchon, South Korea (March 11, 2018): 70 journalists from 50 countries around the world this weekend have declared for peace in the Korean Peninsular after their 6-day participation in the World Journalists Conference in South Korea with the topic of “Role of Press for Denuclearization in the Korean Peninsula and Word Peace”.
The conference organized by Journalists Association of Korea (JAK) and started from Monday has been meaningful while the situation of the only divided two Koreas in the world is becoming calm and positive.
South Korean President Moon Jae-in and North Korean Leader Kim Jong-un planned to shake hands in April before Kim is going to meet US President Donald Trump in May.
During 6 days traveling and meetings nearly 10 cities in South Korea – Seoul Metropolitan Council, Suwon, Sejong, Andong, Daegu, Busan, Jeju Island, Gwangmyeong, and Incheon – the journalists leading by JAK wrapped up on Saturday evening in Inchon where they sent message to the Globe t
hat peace must be laid in the Korean Peninsula.
Speaking at the closing conference on Saturday evening, JAK President Jung Kyu Sung, reminded that journalists are peace messengers who can help build peace in Korea and the world.
