Mr. Chun Sovann rejected the criticism on chasing Ph.D. Kem Key’s killer

Phnom Penh (03 August 2016): On August 2nd, Mr. Chun Sovann, Phnom Penh municipal police chief has confirmed police operation while chasing the killer shot Kem Ley from the place of the incident that the social network to broadcast from Radio Free Asia, arguing that the killed Ph.D. Kem Ley on 10 July 2016 seemed to be a plan by the police forces.

This baseless argument as the planning of the police force above, the police chief considers that it is very unfair to his police force who tried to chase the killer until he got caught.

Moreover, the action for shooting Ph.D. Kem Ley, which was filmed entirely on the security camera, The Chief claims that it will be shown to the public at the upcoming hearing because at this stage the authorities are not able to show that because under study.
