Suing Sam Rainsy and Thak Lany to compensate 100 Riel

Phnom Penh (01 August 2016): In response, the allegations without evidence, lawyers represented by Prime Minister Hun Sen in the morning of August 1, filed 2 separated complaints to sue  Opposition Party Leader Sam Rainsy and her colleague Ms. Thak Lany. The lawyers asked the the court to condemn both and demanded to compensate 100 riel each.

Lawyers represented Samdech Techo Hun Sen considered allegations of Mr. Sam Rainsy, president of the Cambodian National Rescue Party and Mrs. Thak Lany Senator from Sam Rainsy Party upon Samdech Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia as those behind the assassination on Ph.D Kem Ley, not only adversely affected the honor and dignity of Samdech Techo, but also has a strong character deliberately provoke the masses that can cause chaos in society and affect the court proceedings.
