21 MOREA factory workers get faint
Phnom Penh: On 12 June at about 11 am, more than 20 workers of Morea factory located in Lou village of Khan Reusey Keo’s Sangkat Svay Pak continuously fell faint and taken to Calmet hospital but no one is dead.
According to workers and authorities who helped take the victims to hospital, at about 9 am, the factory had electric shock but the factory staff took the fire extinguish the flame on time, leading no huge damage but caused panicking among the workers and they rapidly ran away.
After the fire had been put out, there was no problem and the workers restarted work as normal but at about 11 in the same morning, 2 workers fell down. After seeing this, other workers also fell down causing bad surprised and up to 21 workers were taken to Calmet Hospital. (Phal Sovann Vathey/Cambodia News)
