PM Hun Sen urges to help reduce social accidents
Phnom Penh (23 Feb, 2012): Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen on Thursday urged all relevant institutions to pay attend on the country’s social accidents as the tools of death and injury are higher from year to year.
Speaking at the closing annual meeting of the Interior Ministry in late afternoon, the Prime Minister, citing the record, said a number of death tool in 2011 is more than 3.600 while injury is over 10,000 people that is the high number of the social accidents.
Traffic, fire, and explosion are higher among the accidents if compared with 2010, he said.
The premier also urged authorities and all involving factors to stop using armed forces and violence in their taking action on land disputes causing problems more complicated. (Chhay Sophal/Cambodia News)
