US imports over $2 b from Cambodia
PHNOM PENH (Dec 13, 2011): More than US$2 billions the United States exported into the country from Cambodia during the period of January- October 2011.
According to the US Census Bureau, 5 top exports to the States are Knit Apparel, Woven Apparel, Miscellaneous Textile Articles, Footwear, and Fish and Seafood.
The Bureau also said that while the US was importing products with the cost up to US$2,290.8 billions from Cambodia, its products — Vehicles, Machinery, Optical and Medical Instrument, and Miscellaneous Textile Articles — were brought to Cambodia was just US$152.6 millions.
Last year, Cambodia exported its products to the States with the amount of some $US2.3 billions while only US$153.8 millions from Cambodia. (CN)
